The Royal British Legion Paris Branch has the distinction of being the very first Branch of the organisation, its articles dating from 14 May 1921 which actually pre-dates the official establishment of the RBL. Unfortunately many of the circumstances of this curious fact are lost in the mists of time - many papers having been lost between 1939 and 1945 (see history)

The organisation was fortunate enough to acquire its premises right in the centre of the city at a time when such a thing was still plausible for a charitable organisation and members thus benefit from use of a highly convenient pied à terre in the centre of Paris. (see Members' facilities)

The Paris branch welcomes members of all nationalities and offers an attractive range of facilities and events for a very moderate subscription.
