29/30 SEPTEMBER 2005 VE / VJ Day Exhibition at the British Embassy

  Janet Warby's hard work on this event was rewarded by a very successful exhibition. Groups of schoolchildren from the British School of Paris and the Lycée International at St. Germain en Lay attended. They met some of our veterans there and apparently talked about the exhibition all the way back to school.

Our thanks are due, not only to Janet but to all those, members and non-members who gave their time and their imagination, and lent documents and objects. The end result was well worth the effort.
